Deconstruction and material reuse practices in New York City are limited by the amount of space available on project sites. The Circular Construction Hub at MADE Bush Terminal is a one-year pilot, operated by Our Temenos, in partnership with NYCEDC — designed from the industry perspective to bridge the interim storage gap for salvaged materials. By creating the physical space and wraparound logistics services needed to deconstruct, transport, store, and process materials, the Hub will support the industry’s transition to hyperlocal, closed-loop material supply chains.
